Establishment of EOC Normalien Produktions- und Vertriebs GmbH as a subsidiary of EOC Lüdenscheid/Westphalia;

2001

Anchor Lamina Inc. sells parts of the EOC Group to the Belgian DME Milacron group of companies. The former EOC Normalien Produktions- und Vertriebs GmbH is the only remaining German production plant in the Anchor Lamina Group and operates for a short period as EPC Engineering & Production Center Chemnitz GmbH.

2002

The EPC company name is changed to Anchor Lamina GmbH for the sake of a consistent corporate image. However, the company retains its independence within the Group.
Anchor Lamina GmbH is responsible for the Group’s activities in Europe.

October 2002

The NTP (New Technology Press), a powered tool for the flexible manufacture of body parts – an AMZ project – is presented to the public at EuroBLECH in Hanover

Merger of Anchor Lamina Inc. with Danly IEM to form the Anchor Danly Company. Through its parent company, Anchor Lamina GmbH is part of the Connell Ltd. Partnership, Boston (USA).

Sales start for LamCam cam slides after the acquisition of exclusive marketing rights from D-M-E Normalien GmbH.

September 2007

Anchor Lamina is honored with a place in the final of the competition “Grosser Preis des Mittelstandes 2007” (an award presented to SMEs)

May 2008

Anchor Lamina wins the Growth Award 2008 presented by WIREG (business association for the Chemnitz-Zwickau region). In her presentation speech at the awards ceremony, the Mayoress of the City of Chemnitz, Barbara Ludwig, acknowledged the company’s continuous growth and its social commitment.

A highlight of the year was without doubt being awarded first prize in the 2008 “Grosser Preis des Mittelstandes” competition. This accolade once more confirmed our outstanding achievements.

Anchor Lamina sees the conclusion of the most successful year in its history.

2010-2011

The recession of 2010 and the beginning of 2011 resulted in Anchor Lamina performing a number of restructuring measures in order to consolidate the business. The number of employees and annual sales returned to the level of 2007 once the market revived in 2011. One important project was the implementation of a test press (demonstrator) in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute in Chemnitz.

April 2012

The long-standing Managing Director, Wolfgang Neubert, who had led the now 100-strong company since 1990, handed over management of the business and retired.

2012 to 2017

Expansion of manufacturing competencies through investment in three CNC portal milling centers.

September 2017

Carrying out of the "Open Day" on the occasion of the 25th anniversary, as well as the ceremonial inauguration of the CNC milling center CORREA FOX65.

September 2018

Since October 2018, Anchor Lamina GmbH has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Connell Limited Partnership (CLP).

With the sale of the previous parent company Anchor Danly in September 2018, a partnership that has existed since 2005 ends - see Company History.

With its two locations in Chemnitz, Anchor Lamina still is responsible for the entire European market with a comprehensive portfolio.

Due to the own production program, the independence of Anchor Lamina GmbH continues to exist.

February 2021

Anchor Lamina GmbH was sold to MDL Deutschland GmbH by Connell Limited Partnership (CLP).

December 2021

MDL Anchor Lamina has been formed by successful merger of Anchor Lamina GmbH and MDL Deutschland GmbH. 63 employees
